Junior Beard Rally
This event featured a variety show and a contest, described in a March 1959 California Aggie article as “the judging of the stringy, scratchy beards which the junior men have been growing (by every means possible) since this semester started six long weeks ago.” It disappeared from yearbook photos by the late 1960s.
