Wild West Days
Students donned cowboy hats, boots and other western clothing during the fall Wild West Days. Started in fall 1964, the annual event also featured a rodeo, dances, country fair and “western feed.” According to a 1965 Cal Aggie Alumni Association publication UC Dimension: “‘Howdy, pardner’ was the official welcome.”
