'90 Derick Middleton Bulkley received his M.B.A. from the Darden School at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville in May. Bulkley now works with Renaissance Solutions Inc. in Boston. Yuan T. Chiao writes that she recently joined Netscape Communications Corp. as a "strategic account evangelist." Ross Colt graduated from Dartmouth Medical School in 1994. In July, he was elected chief resident of the department of family practice at Madigan Army Medical Center. He is engaged to marry Holly Johnson, a pediatric resident at Children's Hospital in Seattle. Rupinder Johl recently received a doctor of dental medicine degree from Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry. Johl lives in Live Oak. Erin (Malley) Johnson and Mark E. Johnson received doctoral degrees in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The couple then moved to Rochester, N.Y., to accept positions as research scientists at Kodak. While at MIT, Mark held both Kodak and Kelco fellowships. The couple has a 1-year-old daughter, Kathryn. Kara Kassay received her M.D. degree in May from the Medical College of Wisconsin. Kassay is serving a family medicine residency in the Scottsdale Memorial Hospital Program in Arizona. Kenneth Loch was recently transferred to New Orleans to do offshore structural engineering work for Chevron Petroleum Technology Co. He and his wife, Peggy (Olson) Loch '91, live with their 1-year-old daughter, Megan, in Mandeville, La. Timothy A. Rochte received his M.B.A. from the Darden School at the University of Virginia in May. He has taken a position with NCR Corp. in Dayton, Ohio. Dan Vold has received his physical therapy degree from the Mayo Clinic and will be getting married next year. He lives in San Jose.

'91 Michele L. Belluzzi received her J.D. degree in June from the Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, Penn. Dawn Blacker writes that "after almost eight years of dating," she and Michael Quinn were married in August. They live in Raleigh, N.C. Jill A. Cochran recently received a promotion from Cisco Systems Inc. and purchased a home in Danville. Cheryl Dent, a story editor with Hearst Entertainment, where she helps develop movies for television, will attend the Michael Chekhov International Acting Workshop in London this fall in preparation, she writes, for her "leap to the big screen." Dent previously spent a year in Bangkok as a professional model. Laura Hanson Raneri works for Security Alarm Financing Enterprises in San Ramon. She married Giuseppe Raneri in 1994. Karen Nathanson joined the staff of Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento in August after receiving her master's degree in physical therapy from Samuel Merritt College in Oakland. Nathanson and Jerry Milenbach '92, a regional management trainee with Consolidated Electrical Distributors of Roseville, were married in March and live in Rocklin. Pamela Waxman, a doctoral candidate in French and francophone studies, received her master's degree in French studies from the University of Michigan in 1994. Waxman married Suzanne Kelsey in May.

'92 Gary Alegre recently received his M.D. degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. He is a resident in orthopaedic surgery at the UC Davis Medical Center. Violeta (Martinez) Alvarado, a research technician, is currently studying the hepatitis B virus at the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla. Alvarado married Oscar Ivan Alvarado in 1995 and had a son, Adrian Ivan, in January. Anna Baker-Dewitt recently received her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Iowa and has accepted a position at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Her husband, Andrew DeWitt, received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa and has accepted an internship in oral surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Anthony W. Dunams is currently pursuing a master's degree as the Yates Fellow of Environmental Engineering at the University of Cincinnati. Before returning to school, Dunams worked as an engineering consultant with Republic Waste Industries in Portland, Ore. His wife, Shira Ben-Zion '91, graduated from Willamette University College of Law in 1995 and is now an associate with the law firm of Freking & Betz in Cincinnati, specializing in employment law. While at Willamette, Ben-Zion was an associate editor of the Willamette Law Review and represented the school in the Robert Wagner National Labor Law Competition. Minohara's first article will be published in Rokkodai-ronshu, the journal of the Kobe University law and political science departments. Mark Moretti received an M.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame in May. He is living in Woodside and working on an entrepreneurial grant project sponsored by Notre Dame. Mike Reed has joined Monterey Mushrooms in Watsonville as Northern California sales manager. Previously, Reed worked for General Produce Co., a wholesaler in Sacramento, and before that, for the California Tomato Board as a regional merchandiser for the Western United States and Canada. Suzanne J. White received her M.D. degree from UC Irvine in June. She is currently a resident at Valley Memorial Hospital in Fresno.

'93 Jennifer Contos works as a bilingual kindergarten and first grade teacher at Orange Glen Elementary School in Escondido. Contos writes that she is celebrating five years of marriage to Michael G. Contos '92, M.A. '94, who is working on his doctoral degree at UC San Diego. Michael T. Pellegrino, J.D., has joined Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in Philadelphia as an associate. Pellegrino works in the investment management practice group of the firm's business and finance section. Allison Schuch graduated in May from the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health with a master's degree in health policy and management. Schuch was recently awarded a postgraduate fellowship from the Kellogg Foundation and the National Rural Health Association. The fellowship will allow her to work for the Cherokee medical system in rural Tennessee. Schuch also recently received her license as a nursing home administrator. Andrew J. Weber, an investment executive, is currently working in the Seattle office of Piper Jaffray Inc., a Minneapolis-based investment firm. Before joining the corporation, Weber played professional basketball in Budapest, Hungary.

'94 Stephen H. Kucklinca recently received his master's degree in Spanish from Texas Tech University. He will be starting law school there this fall. David Palecek is finishing up a two-year stint as a management consultant for McKinsey & Co. in Prague, Czech Republic. Palecek will begin his M.B.A. work at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business this fall. Gordon Robinson, a geographic information systems analyst, is currently working for Robert Bein, William Frost & Associates, a civil engineering/surveying/planning firm in Irvine. Robinson married Deirdre Merryman, who is working on a business administration degree at California State University, Long Beach; the couple lives in Fountain Valley. Blake Sasaki joined Weber State University's athletics program as assistant director of marketing and promotions after completing his master's degree in sports administration at Ohio University. He lives in Ogden, Utah.

'95 Jennifer (Hurtado) Andrade and Allen Andrade were married in June at the mission in San Juan Bautista. The two met at UC Davis in 1991. Sara Brown, a former press aide in Gov. Wilson's campaign for president, has joined the Sacramento division of the Nelson Communications Group. Moving to the agency from a position as appointments assistant to Gov. Wilson, Brown has been assigned to account teams working with the California Teachers Association, Creative Publications and Delta Dental. Aristotle E. Evia has taken a leave of absence from his law work at the Syracuse University College of Law to take a fellowship with the Coro Foundation for Leadership at its Southern California Center in Los Angeles. Jenny Taylor, D.V.M., recently accepted an associate position at Half Moon Bay Veterinary Clinic and writes that she is currently living on the beach, sea kayaking and mountain biking in her spare time.
