I just received the latest issue of the UC Davis Magazine and wanted to respond to the article "Aggies Helping Aggies" [summer 1996, page 36].
I wanted to add that I would not have been able to fulfill my goal of graduating without the generous grants/scholarships I received when I attended UC Davis. Fortunately for me, a graduate of my high school, Lowell High School in San Francisco, and UC Davis had a fund set up.
Whether it is the present day or 20 years ago, any financial aid is greatly welcome and appreciated.
