Let's twist again
I hope your photograph of Roger Berry's wonderful DNA sculpture is a mirror image representation of what actually hangs in the new Life Sciences Addition ("Artistic Twist on the Code of Life," summer 1998). The double helix depicted in your article has a left-handed twist and, therefore, is not scientifically accurate, contrary to what you state. DNA in cells (B-form DNA) has a right-handed twist.

That, indeed, was a mirror image of the actual sculpture--we had inadvertently flopped the photograph. Thanks for setting us straight. Here is an accurate view of the sculpture.
