'90 Jamie (Thurman) Di Fiori is finishing her residency in radiology after attending medical school at the University of Southern California. Her husband, Mike Di Fiori, is a biology teacher and head football coach at Temple City High School. He has also coached at Saint Mary's College and Bishop Amat High School. His brother, Russell Di Fiori, is a professor of biology and director of the biotechnology program at Pasadena City College. He also directs the Los Angeles and Orange County Biological Technology Center and runs an expedition company, Xantus Outfitters Inc., that organizes education and research expeditions into Baja, Mexico. His wife, Teri, is also a biology professor at the college. They all live in Pasadena. Christopher Donohoe married Robin Richards in September. Donohoe is the weather anchor for KNTV in San Jose. He and his wife live in San Francisco.

'91 Steven Finch is a software quality assurance engineer for Intuit in Palo Alto, working on the quicken.com Web site. He previously worked at Fidelity Investments in Boston for the firm's online trading Web site. In his spare time, Finch plays professional foosball and rides mountain bikes. Randolph Kret wrote and directed Pariah, an independent film screened at Hollywood, Slamdance, Cannes, Stockholm and San Francisco film festivals. Pariah is Kret's first feature length film, though he has also produced commercials, a documentary, three award-winning short films and music videos for the bands Cake, the LA Dream Team and Cisco Poison.

'92 Dario Frommer, J.D., was named appointments secretary for California Gov. Gray Davis. Christopher Koehler, M.A. '93, completed his Ph.D. in history at the University of Florida in May. His dissertation examined the history of the genetics of sex and compared the work of American and German geneticists during the first decades of the 20th century. Koehler and his partner, Burch Bryant Jr., who completed an internal medicine residency at the UC Davis Medical Center in 1993, have moved back to Davis. Koehler is pursuing a career as a writer and educator, and Burch is practicing medicine at Kaiser Permanente. Annette Reed-Crum, M.S. '92, recently joined the ethnic studies faculty at California State University, Sacramento. Reed-Crum takes part in Tolowa Indian ceremonies and makes traditional jewelry and woven baskets. Her sons participate in tribal ceremonial dances, and her husband, Steve Crum, is a member of the Western Shoshone Nation and a Native American studies professor at UC Davis. Dan Ritzman recently moved from Fairbanks to Anchorage, Alaska, where he took a position with the Climate Campaign for Greenpeace USA. Alex Sandoval is pursuing a law degree at McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. He also recently participated in Sacramento's City Management Academy, a 15-week course on municipal government. Debra Wilson recently completed the Naval Intelligence Specialist Course at the Navy and Marine Corps Intelligence Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va., where she learned about national security and intelligence organizations, map reading and terrain observation, and counter-intelligence. Wilson also re-enlisted for four more years in the Navy.

'93 Donald Anderson, M.A. '95, married Jennifer Ann Thompson '94 in September. Donald is an education specialist at Storage Technology Corp., and Jennifer is an assistant project editor at Westview Press. They live in Westminster, Colo.

'94 Louisa Alvidrez-Sandoval is pursuing a master's degree in social work with an emphasis on community development from California State University, Sacramento. She also recently attended Sacramento's City Management Academy, a 15-week comprehensive course about city politics and operations.

'95 Robert Bluford and fellow former UC Davis athletes Dennie Morenco '96, Shawn Parker '95, Jordan Seiden '96 and Christopher Sterling '96 have started a new business to aid high school athletes interested in playing at the college level. Their company, NextLevel Student Athletic Services, helps players market themselves to colleges nationwide, provides coaching and tutoring services and helps students find scholarships. Jennie Choi and John Song '97 were married in December in San Jose. Lindsey Crittenden, M.A., recently published The View from Below, a collection of her short stories. She worked as an editor for nine years in New York, but returned to the Bay Area in 1993. She now teaches and writes. Shari Gonzalez is the orchard manager of McEvoy Ranch in Marin County. Gonzalez has worked at the ranch for the past five years overseeing production of olive trees. She is also on the board of the California Olive Oil Council.

'96 Geoffrey and Kirsten (Watkinson) Dewhurst had their first child, Joshua Robert, in September. They live in San Diego where Geoffrey attends San Diego State University and will receive his master's in counseling as well as his marriage, family and child counseling degree in the spring. Kirsten is working toward her multiple-subject teaching credential.

'98 Marc Castro is a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Oklahoma State University, working as the head athletic trainer for the baseball team and as an assistant with the football team. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in exercise science. Navy Lt. Victoria Quinn is stationed in the Arabian Gulf on the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer. Nannette Stamm is working as a mission intern at the Emmanual Methodist Church in Cochabamba, Bolivia, where she helps with the church's community health program. The program provides food and care for 170 local children every day. During the second half of the internship, Stamm will be assigned to a project in the United States.
