Brent Coleman sends us these photos and writes of this 1980 shot: “It's the middle of the night and the [Picnic Day] parade starts in just a few hours. We've just finished stuffing 15,000 Aggies to distribute when the sun comes up. We are: (back row, left to right) Jim Chaconas, Peter Adamco, Steve Oberste, Tracy Chapen, Rita Gibson, Brent Coleman, Dan Coyle. Front row: Doranne Dill, Marc Fagan, Dave Miller, Ingrid Renard, Jil Burnett, Coleen Duncan, Karin Fox, Cyndee Benson (in the front is Rita's sister, who was visiting). That's the old Davis Enterprise press behind us, and that's real ink on our hands."

The Aggie staff then took part in the parade. Dressed in bright red or black T-shirts with the old masthead (black) and new masthead (red) across their chests, they handed out the paper. On pooper scooper duty in his Bailey U-Roll It cowboy hat is Coleman.
