After four months of fruitlessly searching for jobs after graduation, the former Aggie swimmer stopped waiting around for employers to call her back and became her own boss—teaming up with a friend to create a swimsuit line for competitive swimmers.

Prado participated as a student in a NASA education program and parlayed that experience to fulfill a childhood dream of working with astromauts and the space program.
