For freshmen who want a little more space than the traditional dormitory room affords, the Cuarto student housing area just northwest of central campus offers suites: two- to four-bedroom units with semi-private bathrooms and a living room. Chad Hillman and Tom Nelson, who live together in Thoreau Hall in the Cuarto area, say they like the space and also the peacefulness they find living on the “quiet” floor. Photos by Debbie Aldridge.
