Dirty Work and Dream Jobs

Students keep UC Davis going. More than 4,300 were employed in positions all across campus at the end of fall quarter, while some 2,500 others held unpaid internships — all of them making important contributions to the campus’s job of teaching and research, while gaining valuable experience and a taste of what the working world is like. Some students discover their future career field, others pursue long-held passions, and others at least learn what they don’t like doing.
