UC Davis’ Hime named to regents
The UC Davis Cal Aggie Alumni Association has named Rex Hime ’69, J.D. ’72, to the UC Board of Regents. Hime will serve as one of two alumni regents.
A life member and past vice president and president of CAAA, Hime has been instrumental in countless campus projects, serving on committees, establishing organizations and donating to the university. In 2007, he received CAAA’s Jerry W. Fielder Memorial Award for his service.
Appointments of alumni regents rotate among the 10 campuses of the University of California system. Beginning on July 1, Hime will serve as a nonvoting regent designate for one year, followed by one year as a voting member.
